We scan the top 80 markets by 24-hour volume, pull each one's 24-hour price history, and rank by absolute price change in percentage points — a move from 40¢ to 55¢ (+15 pts) outranks a move from 2¢ to 4¢ (+2 pts), even though the second one "doubled." Percentage points measure how much the market's mind actually changed.
